Story
A hypnotherapist sees Vera throw off the trappings of civilized behavior. For a party she attends with André, Vera’s behavior holds up a mirror to the pseudo-essentialism, virtue signaling, and hypocrisy of her fellow entrepreneurs. I’m not sure if I’m going to try hypnotherapy 🙂 Just kidding. Well, this is a very clever and absolutely hilarious comedy that portrays a serious issue, such as the humiliation of children by their parents, in a playful and humorous way. It’s not only super funny, it’s also extremely suspenseful, the acting is excellent, the script is genius, I really enjoyed every minute and laughed out loud. No need to spoil it, but the bottom line: how different it is to be yourself and to be someone else or someone else you want to be. Without a doubt the best Norwegian film of the year!
